Personal publicity can mean many things to different people and we
represent actors and filmmakers, adults and children, all with varying
needs.
This mainly falls into three categories:
Promotion – where one wishes to increase one’s public and media profile invariably to secure future work or roles.
Positioning – where an actor or
personality is already in the public eye, but wants to influence
existing opinion and perhaps reposition his or herself in order to
secure roles/work for which they would not have previously been
considered.
Protection – this applies to both
adults and children where one would actually rather limit media
intrusion and reduce the spotlight, preferring just to enter into the
media ring when one has a project to promote.
Children- As any parent will tell
you, the decision to allow one’s child to follow their dream onto the
stage - or film set – is a tough one. What about their education? How
do I ensure they keep their feet firmly on the ground? How do I know
what is acceptable and when they are being worked too hard? What are
the legal guidelines? When should I say ‘no’ to a studio or a
production company? Well, thankfully, that is why we are here. We will
take the pain out of the whole process for you and most importantly
ensure that your child (and you) enjoy their experiences in the
entertainment world without it damaging their education, personality
and equally importantly, their family life. And believe it or not – it
